I immediately deleted him and this will be my policy from now on for those who like to share pics of deformed babies for "causes" or burn victims or whatever. Listen my heart bleeds for those people but no one wants to see that stuff.

Regardless of who you are I will delete you from now on.
Same here, it was my cousin who posted it, I am going to smack him when I am in town next week.

A relative of mine posted some alleged quote from Thomas Jefferson, something along the lines of "Democracy can't work if people are dependent on the hard work of others". I can't recall it 100%, but it was along those lines.

It infuriated me because this relative and their family leeched off my great-grandparents for literally a couple decades. They made house and car payments over the years for them, numerous times, and also mooched countless other gifts off them.

Rather than get into all that, I just pointed out that Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner.

Mind you, Jefferson loved Sally Hemings. Over and over and over again.

Had a little bit of drama on Facebook today. A colleague posted (evidently to family members) "All of you are so messed up for using Facebook to tell me and my brother that our father just died." Minutes later, her account disappeared.

People these days seem to be under the impression that EVERYONE cares about whatever stupid [expletive] funny link some random person shared or that inspirational god quote some bible thumper posted on their timeline.

I really hate to do it, but I think time to trim my list down to like 10 people.

Adding onto that, I don't need to get an update about your romantic life. Every. [expletive]. Day. Or your dog.

Nor do I need to be updated about local elections and current politics.

Lol, after seeing this thread, I logged onto FB to see if there were any annoying posts in my feed and found a couple of things that made me lol:

"Coincidence that my son went #2 on the big boy potty for the first time ever after eating at El Maguey tonight? I think not! I think it tends to have that effect on people! With Husband's name."

"IF you are on facebook and get all pissy when you get a friend request, why are you even on facebook to begin with? what part of SOCIAL NETWORKING do you not understand? If you dont want to socialize, dont hang out on SOCAIAL NETEWORKS and get pissed when people NETWORK on a SOCIAL NETWORK,

DUHHHHHHH"

I'd trim my list down, but its just so damn entertaining.

My dad's most recent post:

"West is close to the Branch Davidian Compound. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the demise of the BD's and the slaughter at the Murrow Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City. The Murrow building was blown up with nitrogen fertilizer, just like West, Texas was. Coincidence?"

Added bonus: he's "borrowed" a picture of my son to be his profile picture, so those words are accompanied by a picture of our toddler. Words may have to be had.

I think you should run with it and make it look like your son is a conspiracy theorist. Find some kind of photo of your kid where he has a scowl on his face, preferably one where he's clearly crapping his pants, and put the words "FALSE FLAG" on it.

Or in short, make a mockery of it.

FALSE FLAG POOPING. The Man (ie, Dad) wants to take away his civil liberties to crap his pants. LINCOLN HAD A SECRETARY NAMED KENNEDY!

The latest post from my loving father (with my son's face as his profile picture):

"Gosh another fun loving peaceful Muslim, going around blowing up Americans. Who would have thunk it? How many more of these bastards are we going to invite into our country to kill us and the police who protect us. It is not racism or profiling, when every terrorist action since the mid-80's has been perpetrated by Muslims who hate our Judeo Christian way of life. Feel safe infidel? I don't."

/racist [expletive] my dad says
/NOT soon to be a hit tv show or book
