I was a tin of Copenhagen a day chewer, quit in 2007. I wanted to stab myself in the heart, and in fact thought several times I was having a heart attack. Sweats, palpitations, and the worst were cramping in my feet and calves. Horrible.
Not as horrible as chewing Copenhagen.

I caved. Sipping on some delicious iced tea as we speak. I think I'm just going to cut out soda completely and work on gradually cutting down on tea.

I love iced tea and coffee and will not quit drinking them.

We are all going to die someday. I'd like to have a say in my death...

Years ago, one of my friends was hospitalized for caffeine poisoning. He'd been ingesting so much (cups of coffee, diet Cokes, etc.) for so long (months or years) that he began having heart palpitations and had to go to the emergency room. He had to go cold turkey, and was a zombie for weeks. I don't think anyone here is close to that.

I had 8 shots of espresso yesterday and am already through 3 shots today. I average at least 4 a day.

Never leave me sweet sweet caffeine. I wake up ready to chase the dragon.

Also TTM, Killer Joe is a great name for a movie about caffeine addiction.

I have to cut back on iced tea. Between that and the water pill I take for kidney stones I had to make a pit stop every half inning yesterday.

If you insult me again, I will cut your face off and wear it over my own. Do you understand?
