Is he a veteran? My sister-in-law had the same combative problems w/her dad. They had to move him from Nazareth in south county. That's when he went to the veterans home on Bellefontaine Road.lukethedrifter wrote:Have to move him again.

If you're over 60, drink up: Alcohol associated with better memory
I saw this on the news last night with the definition of "light alcohol consumption" being 2 drinks/day for men and 1 for women.
Considering Dad had Alzheimer's and Mom has dementia, I'm going to have to give this serious consideration.

Stepfather died last weekend. I'm glad it's over for him.

I was with him for a couple hours the night before he died. It was brutal. I'm so glad that by the time his daughter got in town to be with him he had deteriorated past that point. Mom got back in town just after he died.
It really is a relief that it didn't drag on for years. Really glad that we had some really nice moments with him in the last few months as well.
