I did my bourbon trail trip last week and had a great time. And I had the distinct pleasure of meeting up with Sigh for the second time. He truly is a gentleman and a scholar!!!
The hell are all the samples?
I drank em all!!!

It's actually rather difficult to reserve tours/tastings these days. I was lucky enough to get into 4 different distilleries, but a lot of the ones I wanted were booked solid already by the time I was getting to it. We went to Michter's and Angel's Envy downtown on day one, and Willett and Barton's 1792 in Bardstown on day two. Willett was by far my favorite experience, and their property was fabulous. 1792 was the most disappointing comparatively, but it was still interesting.

If you are a bourbon fan at all, you must go some day (if you haven't already).

I have been to a couple of the distilleries when I have been in the area. But I haven't made a real trip out of it yet. I should.

I went to Jim Beam distillery when I was like 15 on a family trip. It's pretty dang cool.
