Seen him. As I’ve mentioned before he’s my dad’s favorite. Was a good, not great show
The Silver Bullet Band is probably better than him at this point

This info, coupled with my own blasé-ness and the price will probably keep me away.Tim wrote:Seen him. As I’ve mentioned before he’s my dad’s favorite. Was a good, not great show

I've also recently spent money on Billy Joel (really good), U2 (regrettably disappointing) and Foo Fighters (really looking forward to this one) lately. It's hard to justify soo much money on concerts anymore.

I've seen ZZ Top. It was probably 20+ years ago, but they put on a heck of a show. If I hadn't seen them before, I would probably be going to this. I may still wind up going if nothing else is going on and there are tickets left at all.Swirls wrote:We are seeing John Fogerty & ZZ Top next month. So excited!

Are they playing somewhere near STL as part of their Blues & Bayous tour? I'm seeing them at an outdoor amphitheater right outside the Cities (actually only about 1/2 mile from the plant I work at).GeddyWrox wrote:I've seen ZZ Top. It could have just been an off night. But they only played a bit over an hour, looked exhausted and kind of just went through the motions.Radbird wrote:I saw them about 45 years ago.Fat_Bulldog wrote:I saw ZZ Top about 5 years ago.

I'm eager to hear reviews from this show.
They did play my favorite song of theirs though - "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers"
