I don't remember ever seeing 107 as a forecasted actual temperature in St. Louis. I moved away from Phoenix about ten years ago and it was 118 the day we left.
One of my softball teams wimped out and decided to forfeit tonight because of the heat. Both of my teams play at the same time tonight so I was going to only play one game anyway. Looks like only half of us are stupid enough to risk heat stroke tonight. Looks like I'll just drink a lot more beer and maybe mix in a Gatorade or two. Normally we hang around the park for a bit after the games are over but I have a feeling that we'll be hitting the bar before the second games are even over tonight so that we can find some air conditioning ASAP.
Yesterday I was working outside. Went shirtless for most of it. When I was done. I took my undershirt and wiped myself down to get all the sweat off of me, and laid it out over a chair. After 10 minutes of cleaning up and putting everything away, I came back outside and the shirt was dry.

Must not have been much humidity. Or really windy.
I was on the East Coast throughout the heat advisory. That was nice.
