We lucked out and bought a Whirlpool last year, although I can't imagine that any refrigerator currently made will last as well as our previous refrigerator, which gave us 23 years of service.

And I expect crap from our Whirlpool, eventually.

It's dead. A 7 year old refrigerator that cost like $1500 is dead and I have to buy a new one. Samsung, I hate you deeply.

I have had 4 Microwaves in the last 3 years. 2 G.E. and 2 LG - and the second LG has already had a major repair done to it. - I have had 3 different washing machines - 2 Wirlpool and 1 LG in the lat 5 years - the LG just had to get repaired.

I actually have a home warranty that paid for itself in Microwaves and the Washer....

The repair man said all the newer appliances suck and are made cheaply and the companies don't care if the only last a few years since us stupid Americans will just go out and buy a new one.
