I'm going to kill a cyclist. I don't want to. God I don't want to. But they dart through all three lanes even though only two of them are not moving, and there is no possible way for me to see them. But it will be my fault. And then there will be a huge rally outside my house condemning me and I'll have to move to escape the righteous hatred because I killed a cyclist.

They are also texting quite a bit, the cyclists.

^ thats not the kind of self righteous biker I've experienced. The ones I meet would call you a carbon pig cyclist-murderer for operating a motorized vehicle. There was a fun fixie snob for a while who would condemn you for having gears, but they fell out of fashion, probably because those bikes are impossibly impractical.

Biking IS a win in so many ways, though. I just don't have the time.

I don't understand why we don't technologically limit speeds on cars. Either a regulated maximum capability on all cars, or try to develop some kind of GPS/on board computer solution that limits you based on where you are. Especially if we're going to let people off with light sentences when they kill people with their cars.

Governors don't require any interaction. At least top them out at 80/85. If you want to go 100+ go find a private road course or a track.

Have you ever driven across the great plains? There no good reason at all that there is a speed limit out there.
