We need to identify the symbol at the bottom left; I can't make out the writing there either. I've put about 10min of research into it but I came up short.

My initial attempts at GIS'ing a combination of the terms Painting, Poster, America, Space, Liberty, Flag, Firemen, Rushmore has failed. Analysis of funky image in lower left is difficult. Continued effort will be conducted.

Edit:

The painting is a random image in a post on this blog from March 2008, the blog post title is "Beyond Conservatism: Freedom in a Godless Future". Mouse-over of the image shows the title "Freedom is America", which when GIS'ed only leads back to this image, inferring that it is not actually the title of the painting, just what this blog labelled it as.

Continued effort will be conducted.

By searching only for images with the title "painting" and the exact size of the original linked painting, I discovered a GIS hit that led to this.

Cao Yong. The painting is entitled "Freedom."

The Tineye image reverse search is wonderful.

Edit: you beat me to it. But try Tineye.com to do reverse searches of images based on URL's. It's great.
