They've come a long way from when HBO meant "Hey, Beastmaster's on!"

No problem. I know Robb said he wasn't going to kill Jamie, but then the next scene, his Dad gets his head chopped off.
That would certainly alter my view of what to do w/ him.
I was fully expecting Jamie to get the axe this week.

Apparently Rob McElhenny gained 50 pounds for the next season of Always Sunny, just for [expletive] and giggles.
How committed are the actors of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to the dirtiness of their show and its characters? Very committed, it turns out.

Rob McElhenney gained fifty pounds to play Mac this season. Why? For the sheer comedy of playing his character as a fat guy. “It’s been disgusting to watch him go through with this adventure,” said Charlie Day. “We were a little on the fence about it for his own personal health and safety,” he added, “but it has definitely made Mac a lot funnier.”

That is completely amazing. How long will he stay fat? Is this a permanent thing? It's a lot easier to gain 50 pounds than it is to lose them. The fact that this wasn't for a specific episode or anything, just because it would be funny, just makes the whole thing better. How do his co-stars top this? Will Charlie lose a pinky? Will Frank get a real face tattoo? The new season can't come soon enough.

Holy crap, that's awesome. I didn't really care for the last season. I hope the new one is as heeee-lar as season 3, in my opinion the best one.

Bombshell episode of The Killing.
[SHOW]
Ballsy move not to wrap up the whodunnit in one season. I fully expect it to be solved by Season Two though because that would be 13 episodes, equaling 13 days, equaling about the time the mayoral vote is finally cast.

I would have to think it's either Mayor Adams (or someone from his campaign) or Gwen's father, the Senator, in the car with Holder.

Congratulations, AMC, you cancelled Rubicon, one of the best, smartest thrillers I can recall and replaced it with The Killing. Which sucks. Zero likable characters, unrealistic police procedures and the entire premise of the show (just wait until the finale! it'll all come together!) just spit in the audiences face.

ZERO likable characters. Not a one.

I need to cleanse my palette with Game of Thrones.

I was really surprised that they didn't end that with a gunshot sfx. Likely means Richmond will live.

I'm going with an unknown character in the car with Holder. It's probably less sinister than it appears, probably more of a "We know the guy is guilty, this just helps put him away," instead of a "I took the cash to smear his name in the press." If that were the case he would have put the screws to Richmond earlier.

I now think Gwen did it. Richmond's in the clear IMO... He has a kink for asking girls to think about dying, but the killer never intended to drown Rosie. Whoever called her to the Casino made her think it was Richmond, but then deked her for some reason, probably to shut her up because her name was going to come out. She ran into the woods...was chased down and the killer panicked, put her in the trunk thinking she was already dead, and then dumped the car.
...and haters are going to hate this episode and will not watch season 2. That's fine by me. They ended it the way they started it, with nice red herrings and barking up the wrong tree.

Yea my final theory was Gwen. I think she did it out of jealousy. Now she is setting up Richmond out of spite. I'm prolly way off base though. Have been with all my other theories.

There was too much bad in the killing finale for me to bother posting, so I'll just let Alan Sepinwall do it:
http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-alan- ... son-finale

Round of applause for Mr. Sepinwall. Screw that show. The fact that it airs on Sunday, my fav tv night, and I watch it in a 3 hour block with Game of Thrones and 101's rearing of season 4 of The Wire (double, Pujols-style sky point for season 4) did it no favors comparatively, but seriously, that was an insulting show. I'm mad. Rubicon4life.
