So Falling Skies Season 1 is over. It's a show that's just barely good enough to keep watching IMO, and it ended with a very good cliffhanger. Maybe they'll retool, tighten it up and reward me for being faithful despite myself. But I can picture me watching every episode of a show that I sort of like again next summer. There certainly are some well-done, entertaining things about it.

Can't wait. So the new season is going to skip ahead 2 years right? Cause where we left, they're all in jail for 18 months.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Less than a month until the premiere.

Kurt Sutter has stated that there will be a 14 month time lapse to allow for the majority of SAMCRO's prison sentence to occur offscreen, but is undecided on whether to start the season with them in prison, or after they have been released.[14] "There will be a new mayor, a new chapter and a new sheriff. The 21st century is going to land at SAMCRO's doorstep." Danny Trejo will guest star as Romero “Romeo” Parada, a former Mexican military commando. Rockmond Dunbar and LaMonica Garrett join the cast as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt and Deputy Sheriff Cane respectively.[15] On May 16, 2011 on his official blog, Kurt Sutter announced "Appisodes" that will be mini-episodes available first via the Sons of Anarchy Mobile App and then added to the show's official website and YouTube later on. The number of mini-episodes is not confirmed although Kurt Sutter did confirm that the content of those episodes will deal with goings-on during the fourteen month gap between seasons 3 and 4 chronologically. Season 4 will begin on FX September 6, 2011.[16]

Wilfred's not here anymore. There's only Sneakers. And I won't rest until Kristin gets what's coming to her.

Breaking Bad finally got real this season. Took a little while. Lot of possibilities put in motion. Interesting that they dwelled on the "disappearer" in the scene with Saul as long as they did.
There's something going on with Mike this season. I don't know if you're supposed to think he's disgruntled or maybe just feeling old, but there's definitely a sense he's losing patience with his situation. And maybe I'm presuming incorrectly, but it doesn't seem like he told Gus about Walter's meeting with him.
I remember someone writing about the Sopranos a few years back, and saying that in contrast to films that glamorized gang life, the Sopranos portrayed it as a middle management nightmare. Both the rehearsal scene with Skyler and the [expletive] session with Saul reminded me of that.
I wonder if there's any more attention paid to Walter Jr down the road, especially now that Skyler is in on things. In general, they make an effort at showing all the downsides and effects of the meth and the crime, but every time I see that kid I feel bad for him and they haven't really addressed that situation much.
The Ron Paul sticker in Gale's folder was a nice touch.

First episode of Louie last night (The masturbation episode) was literally amazing. It absolutely amazes me that FX let that air. The second one with Doug Stanhope wasn't bad but wasn't nearly as good.

My 10 y/o wanted to watch Wilfred. I've got to draw the line somewhere.
