This is a little more like it. 28-3 early second quarter. I'm still trying to figure out how we lost to K-State. They are so awful.

And as soon as I type that Franklin throws a pick six. I'll stop talking.

I went to the game, and they looked damn near perfect today (other than the two picks that Franklin threw when I went to piss and buy a hot dog). If they play like that every game from here on out, I feel good about their chances at 8-4.

Yeah, as long as you go and withhold all liquid intake.JL21 wrote:I went to the game, and they looked damn near perfect today (other than the two picks that Franklin threw when I went to piss and buy a hot dog). I thought running that pick out of the end zone was stupid, but it worked out pretty good.
Edit: I really miss Nebraska not being in the Big Twelve.
Edit: Oh gosh that was bad.

Yeah, same here. I believe the progression went "What the [expletive] are you doing, you [expletive] idiot?!?!" to "YES! GO!" in approximately 3.2 seconds.Leroy wrote:I thought running that pick out of the end zone was stupid, but it worked out pretty good.

I know Franklin's got time to grow. I just hope he doesn't use all that time to do it.

He has shown flashes. And really if you think about it, a roughing the kicker and a missed field goal is hurting MIZ more than anything this year. A- and K- SU should both be victories and this season would look a lot better. It would look even better without james' fumble, but I don't think they were going to beat the cowboys anyway.MrCrowesGarden wrote:I know Franklin's got time to grow. I like the progress James is making, but wish it could be faster. You'd like him next year, except they'll be losing in the sec.

Re: Mizzou Football 2011
We've gotten spoiled a bit, too. Daniel didn't make nearly as many errors early on. In fact, that was what made him so great- he almost never made bad reads. And Gabbert had the cannon to get away with more when he was a sophomore whereas Franklin does not. So there'll be growing pains with Franklin. That said, he seems like he'll be special once it clicks for him.MrCrowesGarden wrote:I know Franklin's got time to grow. I just hope he doesn't use all that time to do it.
Oklahoma State is damned good. Between what we saw of OSU and OU, OSU is the better team.
