i've watched the nat'l TV broadcast over again many times since watching it live, and I've heard snippets of Jack's final calls, but that's the first time I've heard the whole ninth inning from the KMOX broadcast. lots of stuff for misty eyes there. era of men trained in radio-dominant media is gone; it's so much more exciting to remember that way. jack took time twice to mention important stuff....recent deaths of folks....acknowledging the fans waiting since '67. man, i miss that voice, that personality, that sense of humor.....and playing in a stadium and at a time when HRs were pretty tough to pull off.....and all the implications that had.

perfect way to reset.
