Exactly! The past couple years we've been excited because the program is moving in the right direction. It may not have made it to National Championship caliber, yet, but that seems to be the ultimate goal (as opposed to in the past you could argue just beating Nebraska every now and then or dreaming of simply winning the north) and they've done a good job at moving in that direction.TheoSqua wrote: Even then, Mizzou's goal the last ten years has been to get to National Championship calber where they're playing to win BCS bowls. The same teams that they're gonna be playing in the SEC they'd be playing in those bowls.
Teams like Oklahoma and Texas would be juggernaughts in the SEC and that's who mizzou has tried to compete with in the big12.
If the program continues to develope, and there's really no reason to think it won't, then the SEC East shouldn't bother anyone. In fact, it probably helps Mizzou recruit...
Yeah, there are juggernauts in both conferences. OU, TX, LSU, Alabama, maybe FL though that's yet to be seen after the regime change..... The goal is to get your name included in that list, right? Not piss down your leg when you have to think about playing one of the names on that list....
