Re: 2011 NFL season
There is something wrong with Rivers. As much as I'm giddy about beating the Chargers, he just doesn't look right and made a lot of terrible throws against a pass defense that just isn't very good.

It was a mistake to draft him when they had Drew Brees.

I don't know if that is sarcastic or not. He has been a pretty darned QB for awhile, but something just isn't right. Not sure if he is hurt or what.

No I mean it- they had Drew Brees and let him go after they committed to developing Rivers, who has been very good but I think if they had stayed with Brees they would have been more successful the past few years.

I don't know. In the past few years what made them good was a really good defense, and a good running game. After Tomlinson left and that little guy went wherever he went, they lost the run game. It is hard to be a good QB when you can't run, and can't stop it anymore.

Tebow will be 3-1 as a starter this year, after today. As many wins as Cam Newton, in 5 fewer starts.

Why the blue font?RxOfCowbell wrote:But he only had two completions!!!!!Socnorb11 wrote:Tebow will be 3-1 as a starter this year, after today. As many wins as Cam Newton, in 5 fewer starts.
The premise of snobsroc's post is unclear. Is it just a statement, sort of like Kent Bottenfield won 18 games in 1999, more than Randy Johnson? Or are you implying better quarterbackiness based on wins?
Let's check out the awesome NFL QB ratings for Tim Tebow's performance
Denver C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT NFL RATING
Tebow 2/8 69 8.6 1 0 102.6

The blue font was because he only had eight attempts.lukethedrifter wrote:Why the blue font?RxOfCowbell wrote:But he only had two completions!!!!!Socnorb11 wrote:Tebow will be 3-1 as a starter this year, after today. As many wins as Cam Newton, in 5 fewer starts.

Why did you bold the QB rating? Isn't that a pretty good QB rating? The premise of your post is unclear.
