Glad we didn't give that contract. Plus it makes more sense for an AL team to have that long a contract.

I'm disappointed, but not devastated. I'm happy he got "respectable" money and he's in the AL. Although the new schedules may allow us to see him more than we thought.

its very difficult for me to not mock his sanctity so i won't here.

strange feeling but i imagine we'll get over it by opening day...or...after the first game at least.

Seems like the Cards had a pretty fair valuation and the Angels blew it out of the water. Maybe he'll pull a Maddux or Bonds, but more likely the end of this deal is gonna be pretty ugly.
