Angels were kind of my 2nd Team/AL team since their AA team is here in Little Rock....now I am thinking about not going to a game next year. (sort of joking)

So does the WS take away some of the sting of this for you or does this news somehow/somewhat overshadow the WS for you?

For me it takes the sting out.

You know when you was a teenager and you was about to get dumped by that girl out of your league you always said it didn't matter and then when it happened you wanted to throw up? Yeah that is me...I kept telling myself I wouldn't care, but I do.

Just remember that after you grew up you looked back on it and realized you would have had to change who you were to keep her. And you were just fine the way you were.

The Angels are that much of a better team? Take Albert off both rosters for a moment, and I think they are pretty even. The Angels being a tiny bit better of a team right now had to be a small factor compared to the money.

Your point that the Angels have the resources to stay a better team...uh, "resources" means money. And resources are no guarantee of success, either.

I agree this makes the Angels better on paper for the next few years. It will remain to be seen if this contract makes the Angels the better team 6+ years from now.
