it would be funny of the AL/LSU game was a snoozefest...after (imo) the most exciting bowl game so far featuring the sooners.

I gotta say Oregon fans left some kind comments

As my feathered brother stated above, we were really afraid of Wilson, Ball, Abbrederis, etc. Your team is filled with excellent athletes and you have great coaches. Wilson is a class act on and off the field. I look forward to rooting for him on Sundays.

My fiancee and had our tickets about 6 rows behind your band (long story). I just wanted to say that you guys had a lot of class. We had a great time and you guys played one hell of a game. I never understood what the 5th quarter was all about, I really wish Oregon had something that cool.

I was scared to death of Wilson and Ball – a most prolific offensive attack that even us who watch Oregon every week can fear and respect.

I’m truly sorry we had to beat you. I’d have much rather seen Oregon beat (the [expletive] out of) Ohio State or Michigan or PennSt or that new addition, Nebraska… but – it had to be.

I hope y’all win the B1G next season and pound whoever it is (provided it ain’t Oregon) you face in your bowl matchup. Thank you and RESPECT!!!!!!

To me it seemed like

you guys had the players to win this thing, but it was such a tightly contested game that every mistake made a difference. A freakish fumble here, a silly use of time out’s there and it’s over.

Believe me, we know the feeling – last year’s “he isn’t down yet” run by Dyer and a last second field goal led to us hearing SEC fans yammer all year long about why we never belonged in the same stadium with an elite SEC team.

You guys definitely belonged there and I hope our fans treated your fans with dignity.
