Hockey announcers are dumb except for that Thorn guy or whoever. The guy last night just said something like there's no intensity in this Sharks team. Bang. Goal. Screw yourself announcer.

Anyway, I thought San Jose was more interested in knocking guys down than scoring goals until the end there.

Which is surprising. I thought the Blues would be more likely to over-focus on the physical game, being a younger less experienced team. The Sharks are suppose to be a savvy veteran team that can keep focus on the game, and they're the ones that overcommitted to proving a point physically and it ended up costing them any chance they had of winning the game.

Not to break from topic w/ the big game tonight (wtf is the 930 start about though), but what the hell is going on in that Pitt/NJ series, did they just completely forget the is a thing called defense & goaltending in hockey.

Hopefully they don't look at that series as the scoring barometer for the rest of the players. I've never witnessed such bad goaltending & a lack of defense from playoff teams in my life.

Geez, still 9 hours, 40 min until the game starts. The West Coast sucks... just because its on the West Coast. I'm sure the people are nice or some such thing.
