Jenkins has a brief interview. So does Rob Stock.
I just watched this again. Love the corkscrew hanging in the background behind the manager. Some funny things going on in the background in a lot of those interviews.

OK so Tyrell didn't do so hot last night. The umpire had a tiny strike zone, and he walked a couple. The guys he didn't walk, he fell behind and had to come into the zone. It was the same story for most pitchers all night. It took an hour and a half to play the first 3 innings. Final score was 11-10. It looked like Tyrell was throwing a fastball, slider and curve. His fastball had good velocity but looked pretty straight. He also made a throwing error which didn't help himself. Lots of errors in the game, too. A far cry from the playoff baseball saw late last year.

Rob Stock relieved Jenkins and did equally bad. He did K a guy with a real nasty curveball, which was a pleasant surprise. But it was the same story for him as far as falling behind batters and having to come into the zone and getting ripped.

Goldstein said his scouting reports were not as good as expected this spring.

I went to the game tonight. Jenkins looked a lot better. They limited him to only 4 IP, but he had 4 K's, 1 BB and 1 hit. The only times they hit him hard was on a fastball on a full count and also on a 1st pitch fastball. He got some better defense behind him tonight. Again his fastball had good speed but was pretty straight. His breaking pitches tonight were nastier and he was even throwing them for strikes occasionally. I'm interested to see how he develops this year.

I didn't stick around but I see Stock didn't do too well again tonight.

Robert Stock is not, and never was, a pitching prospect.

He was a damned fine pitching prospect.

When he was 15.

Jenkins and Freese had a funny Twitter exchange. Jenkins tries to be funny but he just comes off as arrogant and/or immature.

Here was the exchange:

As someone who follows both hockey and River Bandits road trips, all this did is confirm that I am nobody X2.
