Update: I had a OTGA moment today and so I came back and read this thread. As good and happy as I felt by my last big post in this thread I feel just the opposite today. I sort of got double sucker punched today when I went to the bank and ran into OTGA's Mom who works there. OTGA away just got engaged! Honestly I thought she was already married.....again. I think I put on a nice brave happy face for the Mom but reality was I was dying inside. I feel so awful for feeling the way I did because it's just not fair to my gf.

Part two, I had to take the gf to the doctor. It's pretty routine these days but today she was off. I thought maybe she was feeling especially bad or something but she was pretty quiet the whole way up and while there. Finally on the way home she drops a bomb on me "maybe you should find yourself another gf." I was stunned I didn't know what to say. So I dug deeper and her whole point is she can't have kids and is on a limited time frame so that time spent with her is time wasted by me. I couldn't disagree more as I cherish every day with her and I told her that but after a whole lot of talking I'm not sure what happens now.

Today definitely ranked high on the worst days of my life list. [expletive] OTGA. It's all her fault.

Kids are overrated. Tell her you know that from people who have them. Love, however, is not overrated.

I wish my friends would realize this but they seem to be reproducing like it's some sort of competition.

I feel the exact opposite, love is over rated, my kids on the other hand are the absolute best thing that ever happened to me.

Surely everybody dreams of reproducing enough to create their own super race of babies.
