Derek Dooley fired, effective immediately.

James Franklin is going to make a lot of money this offseason. He is only the second man ever to win five SEC games in a season at Vanderbilt.

My dad's senior year at Vandy they only lost 1 SEC game. But they tied 3, going 2-1-3 in conference play.

Oh, and they won in CoMo that year as well.

That's a good year for Vandy.

They were over .500 every season my dad played there so maybe it was a good era.

But yes, looking at the record, that's pretty much the best run of success Vandy has had until now.
