I think he did the right thing, media wise. Everyone is going to forget this by draft time.

That is what I am curious about. Were his playing abilities overrated as much as his girlfriend? He sure didn't look like once in 50yrs defensive Heisman candidate. He looked more like Brian Bosworth than a Dick Butkus. The Alabama game will probably cause the draft boards to reassess him, more than this cluster [expletive] story.

I think so too--weird hoaxes and/or gullibility are one thing, but Eddie Lacy putting a footprint in his chest is a pretty serious problem from the NFL's perspective.

I stopped reading that article after the first paragraph, where they used Sandusky as an analogy to this story. That's insane.

is it really that insane that a high profile university would want to maintain its image at all costs? plus in the 2nd paragraph she states:

and i thought you earlier in this thread were debating me that college stars arn't like pro stars re: women, now you are not surprised that he did this?

I'm not at all surprised that college athletes are hungry for attention.

They can throw out all the disclaimers that they want to, but lumping this case in with what Sandusky did is grasping at straws and really tasteless writing, in my opinion. But once again, I can't say that I'm surprised.
