SLU locks up the A10 title with VCU's loss. Shouldn't be lower than a 5 seed. Maybe they'll be as high as a 3 if the win the A10 tourney.

Out of all the things Tom Crean does, the least mockable is cutting down nets after the OSU loss. When else were they going to do it?

Clappy Crean finds so many other ways to make an arse of himself. Especially after being gifted a game at Michigan.

I don't even understand what his point was...

I mean, I can understand thinking lowly of a guy that worked in your program before you took over and his work mucked up the program.....but you know that coming in and by and large have dealth with it. Professionally, to confront him like that is beyond stupid and even if he is correct that Meyer is a jerk off cheating ass bag, Crean looks like an insecure, sour puss crybaby.

Yeah, pretty stupid and obnoxious. I can't defend it.

It's moot now, but the idea is that you cut the nets after a WIN- nevertheless, Clappy is the gift that keeps on giving...

I have mixed feelings about it, but some of the kids have been there 4 years with a lot of losses, and they may not have another win where they can cut the nets under your standard. Also, I'm not a fan of conference tournaments, so the regular season record means more to me. Similar to how I feel about baseball and it's tournament structure. I don't actively hate it, but I'd just as soon we have 2 leagues and the top 2-3 teams from each make it in there.

Speaking of baseball, it's pretty common for teams to celebrates clinches that occur after losses.

Grambling goes 0-28, is possibly worst basketball team of all time. Coach is interviewed.
