What is the Wild West Randian view of this?

I suppose I may be blending two groups there. Nothing wrong with their opinion. They're outraged which is a valid position, and there are liberals of the same position. But I'd say there's a pack mentality w/r/t anyone who argues what Socnorb or Popeye have said in here. That and 50% of the threads in Politics subreddit being about the NSA and PRISM.

Hong Kong is closer to Britain than China when it comes to personal freedoms. For now, at least. Things will probably change for the worse in due time.

Going to Reddit is your first mistake. :p

I don't know, it sounds like he's at least considering leaning on China for the sake of his own ass. I would be shocked if China didn't have eyes in Hong Kong with their hooks and finger, and they have access to all intel from HK.

Things looking up for Snowden. At least in his personal life, anyway.

If I were ever somehow privy to secrets of the state, I would spill the beans to her during pillowtalk without hesitation.
