“Too many tutors were having sex with the athletes, and really filthy conversations were going on between players and girls,” she said. “It was a sexually charged environment. It was a joke — the whole tutoring situation.”

That quote was published in a Yahoo! Sports review of the book Aug. 26, after which Hayes told the Kansas City Star that those comments were taken out of context.

She was only relaying thoughts from Braeckel and Gavin, not expressing her own opinions, Hayes told the Star.

However, the book also includes this comment from Hayes, which did not appear in the Yahoo! review: “The university has created this environment. When you put a room of athletes together with attractive girls, some of whom like to sleep with athletes, you are just asking for trouble. It creates a sexually charged environment, and athletes get an opinion of girls that is skewed. … Their tutoring program needs to be revamped

I won't lie, he got under my skin when he was at UF. Now that he's gone, I can appreciate the fact that he's a genuine troll and dgaf. He cracks me up.

Admittedly, I'm a marginal Badger fan, but after watching this numerous times, I can live with the mistakes here - the refs, and the QB of Wisconsin. It was a weird play that was hard to tell what the hell was going on, which is the beauty of sports. If anything, the refs could have huddled up and determined the play was signaled dead (the whistles were loud and clear-whether they should have been or not), and the ASU jumping on it was a delay of game, allowing for a time expiring field goal attempt.

Badgers aren't going to win the national championship.
And they lose their sole semi non-patsy nonconference game - it doesn't matter.

What do you think of the Mizzou at Indiana game this Saturday night in Bloomington? Hoosiers got a chance?

Since I was born in St Louis and lived most of my life in Indiana this game is rather interesting to me. I'm not a huge Indiana fan and when they play Purdue I tend to pull for the Boilers. I don't ever remember Mizzou and Indiana playing in football. Indiana sure has been bad in the Big Ten in football but their new coach, Kevin Wilson, seems to be turning a corner offensively this season. On the other hand the Hoosiers defense is extremely suspect and allowed an average of 35 points per game last season. I don't really see IU pulling this one out.

It has been 21 years since they last played but in the 39 years between 1953 and 1992 they did play 10 times. So they averaged roughly one game every 4 years in that time. I guess I didn't follow college football very closely in those years between say 1979 and 1992.

Honestly, my worst fear is that Jimbo Fisher is Bo Pelini. Does just enough to not get fired every year but you know he will never take you anywhere.

What do you think of the Mizzou at Indiana game this Saturday night in Bloomington? Hoosiers got a chance?

I think Hoosiers have a chance. Though Indiana lost to Navy at home, giving up 41 points.

Yeah, this game was probably scheduled years ago - but putting perennial B10 doormat on there after a bye week was Mizzou's safest bet for the one "tough" non-conference road game.

Then it is back home for Arkansas State. Vandy on the road, their first real challenge. Jeez - Mizzou is really desperate for locking a meaningless bowl game. Boring.

On the road against Georgia will be interesting. Mizzou should be 5 and 0 and fresh against nobody teams vs a Georgia team that will have knocked around against Clemson, So Carolina, LSU, and Tennessee. A test of the fresh/confident vs the game worn.
