Geez, they're incredibly lucky it didn't get the kid in the head. Clearly the adults on both sides are the parents. Good work on not getting hit, maybe if it gets closer next time you should pick up the kid and use him as a shield.

It's Mike Scioscia's fault. If he had Mike Trout in center like he should have that toddler would have been perfectly safe.

Also, using an 89-year old Jason Isrhinghausen put the child in danger.

Good point. That baseball had more gasoline on it than a Molotov cocktail.

Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling said Friday that the collapse of his 38 Studios video game company has probably cost him his entire baseball fortune, and he placed part of the blame on Rhode Island officials, including Gov. Lincoln Chafee.

Everything but the World Series bloody sock.

That’s what New England estate sale company ConsignWorks has listed for sale inside the home of former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, whose dramatically conflated post-season heroics have given way to a spectacular fall into bankruptcy over a failed video gaming business.

An estate sale is slated for Saturday, Oct. 12 inside the 8,000-square-foot home at 7 Woodridge Rd. in Medfield, MA, which sits on a massive, 26-acre lot. Items up for grabs include a Hummer golf cart; fake plants — complete with a smattering of dust, and a custom dining room set.
