He was actually bullied as a kid, reportedly. His father (who makes Tony Rasmus look like a father-of-the-year candidate) told him at one point to stand up to the bullies......... and he's apparently been a thug since then.

Here's a little sample of Incognito's dad:

Early this morning, a poster with the username "idrd1994" left an impassioned defense of Incognito on the FinHeaven message board. In it, he attacked both Martin and Mike Pouncey as "black brothers that do drugs on a regular basis," and asked readers to "pray [GM Jeff] Ireland and [coach Joe] Philbin die of AIDS." He blasts the team from top to bottom, claims Incognito is getting railroaded, and uses the "black people say the N-word in rap music" argument to dismiss claims that Incognito sent racial messages to Martin. He also implies that Martin has pondered suicide, and "does not belong in an NFL locker room."

You can be emotionally abused regardless of size.

Indeed.

Glad that bullying is being brought to the forefront in news. The line between bullying/abuse is a very thin one, and both of them are huge problems.

Only if he's willing to seek anger management.

But then the tables will be turned on him. Is he able to play without the bully-dirty player shtik?

Is he able to play when others are bullying/taunting him?

Oh, don't misunderstand me. I dont' think that anger management is going to help him. He'll still be the same vicious human being that he is today. I just think that anger management will be a stipulation for him returning to football.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned to a man the Dolphins players have defended Incognito, and all say that no bullying occurred.

Does that matter at all, or does the voicemail/media slant trump it all?

Honest question.

I'm pretty sure both players are finished with Miami either way.

Of course they're defending him. It sounds like many of them were involved. Martin's rep has specifically said that this isn't just about Incognito.

The media didn't creat this. Some of the stuff going on is just sickening, no matter what context you put it in.
