The new BCS rankings should be:
1. FSU
2. Mizzou
3. Auburn
4. Bama
5. Oklahoma State depending on what they do in the Big12CG
If Mizzou wins and MS wins, the wouldn't the rankings be:
1. FSU
2. Mizzou
3. Bama
...I would hope that Mizzou would be in the BCSCG, but this is the NCAA we're talking about.
You may be right about the top three. I put Auburn over Bama for the simple fact they have beaten Bama. However, Auburn would then be a 2 loss team, so I agree with that top three.
If your top three holds, there's no way Bama would play in the BCSCG over SEC champion Missouri.
That's what I don't get about CGs. So there is an outside chance that Alabama gets into the BCS game because of a team losing in the SECCS that Alabama couldn't get into. Getting a bonus for not playing seems like a terrible way of calculating championship contenders. But in that situation Auburn would be considered a "2 loss" team.
Bama's margin over Mizzou in the BCS right now is pretty razor thin, there's very, very little chance that Mizzou doesn't jump them with a win over Auburn.
I can't think of any logical reason why MU wouldn't leapfrog Alabama should the Tigers beat Auburn. Is there a possibility that the BCS "math" wouldn't add up to that happening?
It would take some pretty ridiculous circumstances. Like "Auburn forfeits instead of playing" or "Mizzou's bus crashes on the way back from the airport" ridiculous.
Brad Edwards suggests something like a season ending James Franklin injury during the SEC CG as perhaps the only way a victorious MU falls behind Bama.

Which is stupid because Maty Mauk is as good of a backup as you're gonna get. Voters will find some way to justify ranking Bama ahead of Mizzou, though. I have no doubt.
