Re: Dogs
I did a genetic test of my mutt because he was a stray when I found him and also the best dog I've ever had. It goes back to his great-granddogs and was only able to identify two pure-breeds in his lineage:
Norwegian Elk Hound
Chow
The rest were just other strays, I guess.
He basically looks like a small Norwegian elk hound with Chow coloring, floppy ears and a longer coat.
From what I've read, his personality traits are identical to the Elkhound, so when he dies, I think I'm going to go with one of those or a mixed breed with Elkhound in it. He's just got the perfect blend of intelligence, independent personality and need for exercise for my daily routine.

Jeesh, that one skier is moving slow. Looks like it's uphill, but compared to the others, that skier looks like an imposter. Turn the wolves on her/him.go birds wrote:http://deadspin.com/stray-dog-wanders-o ... 1517391652

Re: Dogs
i saw an article that the taliban have captured a british military service dog and the taliban created a video on it, like they do on all captured "enemies" or whatever. i just read the article, i dont think they've killed the dog (at least not in the video, which i will not watch) but boy it was awfully depressing
