My daughter is now 13 and has curves.
Last fall while I was showing her the routine on how to take the bus home, we were sitting at the bus stop on N Grand. I looked at her and said, "Daughter, you know what to say when the older boys try to chat you up, right? You say, 'I'm only 13. I'm only 13'"
She replied, "Dad, Pocahontas was only 12 and John Smith was 30 or so when they got married. Love knows no age."

Why does she have to [expletive] with me like that?

Oh, and the left-handed thing?

Nobody, in either of our families. Me, my sister, my parents, their parents, my two aunts, my wife's four siblings and much larger family. All righty. Weird.

At least in that one you can combat it with historical accuracy. Pocahontas never married John Smith; she married John Rolfe. While he was almost 30, she was actually 18-19.
