Lebron is the worst. He is constantly shaking his head "No" or holding his arms out with a surprised expression and wide eyes. Every single play. It gets really old.

If there is one thing that is inherently bad about the sport it's how much the refs have an impact on the game, some of it is so subjective and/or the line so faint between a foul and a non-foul. When Leonard fouled out, that sure as hell looked like a foul on Ginobli and not Leonard. He didn't complain (because he's not Lebron), but there is no way that was a foul on him. They got the wrong guy I think.

This is halarious, and just reinforces how these games feel rigged. I'm not saying they are rigged, but they feel that way at times.

They need a foul against flopping. It might deter it a little bit. They have a penalty against it in hockey, but they don't call it as often as they should. I think it should almost be called once a game, certainly against teams with that reputation, just to let them know it is in play and will be enforced. But they call it so rarely they may as well not have it at all. But hockey is still nowhere near as bad as this.

I'm pretty sure Tim Duncan invented that move. But I guess he does it in a fundamentally sound manner.

Pop is such a genius. Who would have thought to have their team shoot 76% in the first half?

I know the situation is a bit different, but still: Miami fans, good god. They haven't learned.

I can't get my head around this.

I first became really aware of Leonard when I was at a Bulls/Spurs game last year when Pop rested Duncan/Parker/Ginobli etc... Leonard was the only regular that started and had a great game, and the Spurs bench beat the Bulls pretty soundly. Tonight I officially became a card carrying member of the Kawhi Leonard fan club. Just an all around great game.

I've been called a 'touch racist' here for less, but there's something very refreshing about Leonard's demeanor as well.

I know I said at the time of their lazer-light-formation that The Miami Superfriends could prove nothing, and I was wrong--especially wrt LeBron as an individual. But if they add Carmello, seriously, what could they prove? I guess that old Nike commercial could be thrown my way here, 'Who am I supposed to be?' or whatever. Why take a lot less money to prove nothing? Would LeBron like Team USA to play as a team in the NBA, and would he like to be on that team? Is the league is going to have to go MLS-style DP rules? All the headlines and buzz are nice, I'm sure, and I bet the current Heat have been nothing but good for the league, but I can't imagine they'd like seeing players [expletive] all over the salary cap and competitive balance like that.

At some point just join the Globetrotters. At least there isn't a more deserving fan base in the league.
