that is hardly a consolation. Hell, baseball will be in full swing by NHL playoffs. It is summer by Stanley Cup time rolls around. NHL needs a new master plan.

I know it's still early in the season, but they need to start picking it up. I don't think Statsny's injury, ill players and new players are the only parts of this suckitude equation.

It's frustrating because you don't know if we are sucking because of injuries, the new players haven't had time to gel, the illness that's going around, or if we just suck

We're 3-3-1. Even good teams have .500 stretches. I won't worry unless we are still kicking around .500 after 20-25 games.

Two of the losses were on the road at Anaheim and Los Angeles. Those aren't really games I expect to win at any point in the season these days. Hopefully a win against the Blackhawks wakes this team up.
