There has never been a Cardinals manager who wore a pajamas shirt under a team jersey to a press conference. If he dresses sloppily he thinks sloppily. I'd rather stick with Matheny.

Two guys on the radio were speculating about in which Chicago neighborhood he will live. On one hand, I totally get the enthusiasm Cubs fans have. I'd be thrilled, too, if I had that much payroll, that much young talent, Theo running the show and Maddon managing.

Maddon at that presser looks like a guy who just realized he sold his soul. Good grief, how much money do the Cubs have? No wonder they want public money to renovate.
