Yeah I think so. I'm sure there was a post or two in here to that regards, but it certainly wasn't from me. I've been very consistent in what I've said about Maddon and the Cubs. He's a good manager, he also brings some confidence with him, and he won't cost the Cubs a pennant and may help them achieve that goal. If they do, he will be about the 10th most important reason behind guys like Bryant and Russell and deep pockets.

But probably not, because they are still the Cubs after all.

I'm a big Maddon fan....just don't see this as the baseball equivalent of hiring Bill Belichick.
