This is hilarious
Does the NFL have the power to declare a forfeit and award the AFC title to Indianapolis? If I was commissioner, I'd seriously consider it. Who the hell do the Patriots think they are?

Too bad it was such a rout. It would be easier to do that if the game had been close.

what would even be the punishment? seconds after securing a victory teams are given championship swag to put on so people at home can be like "i need that too". things are in motion and have been for a year or so. they ain't re-doing the championship game. they ain't cancelling the super bowl.

(that said, i have no idea of how serious this is. i do find it hilarious though)

I just hope they lose a bunch of draft picks and suck as a result. Of course, that won't happen though. Because the pats and belichick can go find some homeless people to put on the pads and still be one of the 5-6 best teams in the league. belichick, as much as I don't like him, has to be one of the best coaches ever.

Not a fan of the cheating.

Ultimately, Bellicheck is damn good coach. He coaches players to push the league's arbitrary rules to the limit. He doesn't even take time to enjoy the success. He's football's Larussa* times ten.

If this was actually a big deal wouldn't teams have no control over the balls they use? If it was egregious, wouldn't the refs notice when spotting the ball?

BFD seems like the most reasonable response to me.

Also, the Patriots have continued to kick ass since spygate.

Makes you wonder if they did it against Baltimore. Brady only had one pick in that game, and it's possible a Ravens player didn't notice if they did. I don't remember the weather conditions for that game either though.

Of course, until the league makes them forfeit games, it's a pretty brilliant strategy to trade draft picks for Super Bowls.

The Patriots and Tom Brady suspiciously outperform expectations in wet weather.

It's not a big deal if it wasn't a pattern.
