South Carolina has done this at least since last year. I just got an email from Amazon a few days ago stating the amount of sales tax incurred last year for products shipped to a SC address that I needed to report on my 2014 tax return.
EDIT: Lucky for me I had only been here for a couple months and still had most of my stuff shipped to my NY address (which already collected sales tax on every charge). So I only owe about $10 this year for SC sales tax - I'm scared what it will be for an entire year.

Re: Hello IL Amazon shoppers!
Couldn't Amazon arbitrarily say the customer bought the item at their distribution center out of state and had it shipped in a separate transaction that is not subject to sales tax?
