[expletive] YOU TMOBILE

Post by GeddyWrox »

So a year ago, I bought a really nice Nokia Lumia 925. Spent $500+. Took the extended warranty as well, which I don't usually do.

Fast forward to this weekend. I notice I have no cell service. We live out past Six Flags, so sometimes we do have service issues. But it's not usually long lived. But I was in mid county all day yesterday and at work this morning... still nothing. At the request of tech support, I did a master reset on the phone. Got LTE for about 5 minutes. Then 2G. Then nothing again. WTF???

Called back in to tech support. They said "phone's shot. We have two options. A Nokia Lumia 521, or an LG G2." FTS. The Lumia 521 is a piece of CRAP. The G2 is better, but if I had wanted an Android, I would've gotten the LG in the first place.

How on earth can these fukkers get away with this? When you purchase an extended warranty, and the item fails, you should be handed a identical or better model, no ifs ands or buts. [expletive] this mother [expletive] [expletive] [expletive].

I feel bad for the poor sap at the Tmobile corporate store that's going to get me tonight.

The first Tuesday of March - 3/3 - we had an emergency weather test, and our notification system was exercised. You can sign up for text/email etc.. On 3/20 someone I work with finally had the text show up on her phone. She said that happens from time to time, texts will just sit in limbo for hours, days, and even months before delivery.

If this were an actual emergency, you would be dead. Sincerely, T Mobile.

Yep! I regularly miss texts completely. My friends know by now to ask me "Hey, did you get that text I sent you a couple days ago?" Also, my texts don't always get delivered, or are hours or days late. F'in ridiculous.

I'm with AT & T and have the same thing. I got a text at midnight on a week night, it woke me up so I answered it, and they are like "why are you texting me at midnight on a Tuesday", I said I was just responding to their text and they said they sent it at 6 pm. Lately, I've been getting a message many hours after I sent a text saying it didn't go through, but it did because the person responded to it.
