I would agree with y'all on the Jay-skeptic train if Grichuk were available to play CF; I thought Jay would never be our regular CF ever again. But apparently he isn't close to coming back, and Pham is a replacement player.

I'm of two minds on the Pham/Jay thing....Jay is a prob. better player than Pham in the long run. I'd rather have him in good form and on the postseason roster than Pham. But the Cards can't just keep giving Jay AB's if he doesn't show anything.
