Hate to say it but the Cubs lineup is a lot better than the Cards lineup.. Our pitching carried us until recently and now the Cubs Pitching has progressed enough to make them a contender.. It still baffles my mind that this team is 37 games over 500 with an offense that's just not that good or consistent.. I hope they Win it all but I wouldn't put much on them doing it.. It wouldn't surprise me if we lost the division and ended up a WC team.. This has nothing to do with how we are playing now either, they just don't put the ball in play enough and strikeout too much!! Hope they prove me wrong!!

This collapse should cost a high up guy his job. Namely Matheny and Mabry. And who's ever idea it was to fix a rotation that wasn't broken. If your going to blow a guy, you don't do it down the stretch. Its proven in baseball, you build momentum and capitilize. Not try tinkering with,one month to go.
