Not in my experience...I'm not sure what the scam part would be.
I cant even begin to outline the whole thing, but a buddy of mine who tried fanduel quit because he concluded it was a scam.

Hes a degenerate gambler so its not like hes gonna tap out of anything that easily.

Basically the premise was that fanduel was altering lineups after the ability to alter lineups had closed, in favor of certain accounts.

Im not well versed in fanduel bc ive never used it, but he was making a pretty good case.

Anyway, stuff like this is just scam-bait imo.

With an estimated $95 billion expected to be bet -- mostly illegally -- on NFL and college football this season, research shows that a legal sports betting market in the United States would be the largest in the world and could potentially generate as much annual revenue as the NFL itself.

Calling the U.S. sports betting market a "sleeping giant," global gaming research firm GamblingCompliance projects that a fully developed legal American market -- where bets are placed at casino, online and at retail bookmaking shops -- would produce $12.4 billion in annual revenue.

I'm hoping DraftKings or FanDuel will eventually make a new option for fantasy sports...where you pick which team will win and put money on the result. They could even have the "odds" of who will win based on how many people pick each team.

This would not be surprising -is there any real oversight?
Poker websites did it. I know these places don't need to cheat to be profitable -but there is still a lot of history of that occurring. (greed).

Funny coincidence that Boston MA DraftKings big prize winner is Dave Gomes - of Boston MA -and straight out of Bro central casting.

That article spells out why your buddy thought FD was scamming him....the sharks are designing software that changes their lineups.

Hey guys, help me out here.

Are there any year-long commitments when playing draft kings? Can people just like me win thousands of dollars playing daily fantasy?

I can't find the answers I'm looking for anywhere.

You ever hear of a guy named Dave Gomes? How about "Mikey Millions" as his friends call him?
