No clue, maybe.

I haven't found an animated gif of him mouthing: "I will [expletive] kill you" to the Cubs dugout a minute or so earlier but I'm sure they'll be out there in the morning.

If I wasn't rooting very hard for the Pirates this game I'd have found it absolutely hilarious.

It's one thing to destroy a cooler and channel his inner Zambrano but he was duking out with it as if he was in-outer-space high and thought it was a real person.

The home team is now 2-6 all time in Selig games and that's still super small but still there shouldn't be any "the home advantage will take them through" speculation because these games are INCREDIBLY random. The winning team is 7-1 when the starting pitcher goes out and shoves. But that's just, eh, random. Cole coulda shoved and Arrieta coulda given up a 2-run McCuthchen bomb in the 3rd and the game coulda been 3-0 Pirates. Super random. Home field doesn't matter, nothing matters except who plays their game that day and how some random stuff over 9 innings happens after 1460ish innings of regular season ball.

Ross grabbed him around the neck which set him off. That's how Rodriguez has always been. His look matches his personality.

In Louisville there's a Muhammad Ali Museum. You can shadow box v. Ali, and this makes me think of what would it look like if a a coked-up moron was in that museum and was doing the shadow box thing.

This current setup is terrible. IMO, Id rather see a soccer style setup. Top 4 overall.

Spot on.

To me it sends home the message that the Cubs shouldn't be seen as this indomitable force because of this game, though, especially considering how hard Arrieta was hit tonight. Yes they're a damn good team this year, much better than I thought they would be (about 21 or whatever games better, which Theo Epstein himself would have laughed at in Spring Training).

I said it before and I'll say it again: the story will be how dominant Arrieta was but he was hit extremely hard tonight by the Pirates. Random luck definitely favored the Cubs tonight.

I'd rather see a pure soccer style setup with a perfectly balanced schedule and the regular season winner is then declared the champ.

But then I'd also like a three-way with Kate Upton and Alison Brie and to have a cabinet of bottomless Weller 12 Year.

I know we bickered a little while back but I just want you to know I truly respect you and the vast majority of your posts, especially this one. :)

Despite the fact that I care nothing about soccer.

Right. Stats and [expletive] go out the window in these games. It's one game. Home Field is BS. No baseball team is winning enough at home that the pendulum swings to make that a massive advantage when it's baseball.

I don't even remember bickering with you b/c I argue with posts and not the poster but thanks I guess.
