Hello, everyone. The old Faction from the birdsonthebat.org site is back.

There are no dues and few rules. The only qualifications required are to believe that Matheny and Mabry must go, and to sport the ITF proudly. If you ever change your mind, you leave the same way. No complaints, no recriminations.
The Faction is big on ritual and ceremony. It's all in fun, mostly imaginary, and you can join in or not as you like. Whatever you're comfortable with. Just play it cool and follow the lead of the veterans. This all started as a lark and we continue to play it that way, to the extent that is possible for serious Cardinals fans.
As for debating the "Fiction", as those who feel compelled to challenge us are affectionately known, again it's entirely up to you. Just try to keep your facts straight and your language decorous, at least to the extent that you can. Sometimes it's needed for effect, and sometimes we just can't help ourselves.

We are staring at the possibility of losing three straight playoff games for the 4th year in a row under him. This is a trend. We're Cardinal fans. Our standards should be much higher than that.

I will not tolerate a team that does not win every playoff series it plays. I demand everyone be fired and traded, then their replacements be fired and traded just to make sure there isn't any stink of losing left on them.
