Ya' know, I'm starting to warm up to this Johnny Cueto idea. I have heard that he is a good guy, we saw the fight and everything of course and that was just madness that night. I'm not 100% sure I wouldn't kick someone either, in fact I'm pretty sure you put me against a backstop with a mass of people coming at me I probably would kick.

I could live with Cueto.

Somebody noticed during one of the Royals' celebration pileups that he didn't participate. That person wondered if Cueto is claustrophobic, and the kicking episode was because getting stuck between a large crowd and a wall caused a freakout.

His walk-up music would be easy to choose, at least.

I've heard the same thing from some Reds fans. They say he's a good guy and the kicking thing was probably just an in the moment thing. If Yadi is ok with it I guess I would be too. He's got talent and could hold down the front end of this rotation for a while after Waino is gone.

We shouldn't. David Ortiz told David Price next time he saw them he better be wearing gloves or whatever. Not signing a player that could help the team immensely because of a fight from years ago is insanity.

I'm not high on Cueto but he seems to be the best of what is left on the open market. Wouldn't want to go as long term though; if the Cardinals were going to sign him I'd rather see a 2 or 3 year deal. Which of course he wouldn't be interested in. I'd rather the Cardinals kick the tires on some potential trades before going all in on Johnny C.
