Cueto's agent says, "He’s the best pitcher of our era in the NL Central."

I know he's the agent and they are paid to put spin on it, but... REALLY?

Has he even been the best SP in the Central? Maybe one year.

There are so many freaking stats out there I give. But I know ERA doesn't factor in park. I don't think Cueto has been as good as Waino, but I'll bet he hasn't been that far off.

I kind of want Johnny Cueto if he is healthy. I'm actually going to try to find time to watch some of his KC starts to see if there were any red alarms. Velocity was there, results weren't. Hurt? Fluke?

Will Clark is an interesting comp.

Is it really fair to Cueto to go back to 2008? That's AW's prime vs. Cuetos' first few seasons as a kid. Run those again since 2011 and it's going to be closer. FIP still doesn't like him, but his ERA is consistently better, so I take that as a flaw with the way FIP interprets his pitching style.

Anyway, Cueto is good. He's one of the better pitchers in baseball. The only one arguing that he's better than AW is the agent.
