this what i meant from yadi...not so much in cueto per se EXACTLY...but that they've had issues in the past and he may perceive the FO doesn't care about their feelings.
I'm sure Yadi would have to be on board before they signed Cueto.
Who runs the team - John Mozeliak or Yadier Molina?
I agree with what you say, but who decides when Yadi plays and when he doesn't? If what we've read and heard is true, it's usually Yadi, and if that's so then h definitely holds some sway. I would hope he would say whatever helps the team to win, but who knows?

The front office should only care to a degree...they can gauge Molina's opinion on Cueto as a pitcher and what it might take to soothe over hard feelings, but if Molina would be unquestionably against the move because of that incident then that's his problem.
absolutely agree....again, just asking/hoping they are asking his opinion, because based on his post, it doesn't sound like it.

absolutely not...they need to sign/get rid of who could help the team/who's hurting the team.

i'm just suggesting that i hope they are in contact with the current core players when they make the decisions however. (which it doesn't sound like based on yadi's post)

it's like that in every business...i own a therapy business. if it's a therapist who's out working in the field/no one in the office really sees? i don't really give a [expletive] what they're like. but if i'm hiring someone for the office? you're damn right i take the potential hire around to meet/chat with all the office staff, and after they leave i sit down with each person on my staff to see if they have an opinion on the matter/seem to have a good/bad vibe about the person.

am i going to NOT hire a person because someone doesn't really think they'd be a fit? of course not...but i believe if i hire them, that employee at least appreciates that i took the time to sit down with them and ask them how they felt/their opinion.

I think so too. I'd be very careful. Kick the Cueto tires very hard before committing.

If Cueto has an arm injury and he turned down $126 million from the Diamondbacks, he and his agent are bonkers.

Perhaps Mo is blowing smoke, but if he isn't, this looks better every day.
