My picky kid likes the place (sort of) - the cinnamon crunch bagels and turkey cheese sandwich is pushing the dining envelope for her. though in the month she has gone healthy eating (she has a sort of willpower, I don't know where she gets it), she'll even ditch the cinn crunch bagel.lukethedrifter wrote:The kids love Breadco aka Panera.
Weird that the bread on a "Bread Co" sandwich is so bland. My wife recently got me one of these from there worst rendition of the yaki soba noodle bowl ever. A while ago they tried making little flatbread pizzas , and sucked.
Top it off, the service set up, just isn't that good. people hovering in a crowded corner awaiting their order pickup. It's higher priced than fast food, but worse service than fast food.
I really don't like to rip on this place, I hope they can shake it up & make it tolerable for me. Since they are nearby, w/ local roots, and walkable - I want them to be good. And yea, I remember the good days when it was frequented by the early- adopter yoga pant clad hotties. someone do something.
OTOH - Kolache Factory rules. not a great place to hangout and eat. but those kolaches never disappoint.
