And yet Hill wants my money because Bernie whiffed an interview. She attached the transcript to a donation form. I'm disinclined to give her this money because she'll take it then promise everyone to legislate against me. Look, hrod, not all of us have the kind of disposable income giving secret speeches to America-expletivers generates.thrill wrote:

That one's hard to believe. But true, apparently. I assume it's a low traffic DMV, but still.pioneer98 wrote:

Yeah and the question he riffed? Detailed plan on how to dismantle big banks that fail? He has an extremely detailed, in-depth plan that he presented congress years ago. It was a serious misstep by my man Bern, but come on. Is his poorly recalled, on-the-spot plan to dismantle banks that fail worse than Hillary's having absolutely no intention to f with the banks? Because that seems to be what Hillary's camp wants us to think.MrSaigon wrote:And yet Hill wants my money because Bernie whiffed an interview.

I agree it's overblown, but that's kind of the dividing line as I see it on whether you support him or Hillary. The big rap on him is "how are you realistically going to do this?" and then he had no answer. Whatever you think about Hillary she knows her [expletive] and would have something to say there.
For some that will confirm their skepticism about him. Trump has the same problem, only I don't think he actually has the answer anywhere.

The voting restrictions amount to poll taxes....how this can be disputed is beyond me.

Requiring an ID is no more a poll tax than being required spend gas to get to the polls. Or have a bike to ride there. Or shoes to walk there.Cheddar Tom wrote:The voting restrictions amount to poll taxes....how this can be disputed is beyond me.
An ID is required for many activities already.

That's the problem. He isn't saying let's actively go bank hunting. He's saying, if you meet these qualifications and request a bail-out, you're not getting it. If you meet these qualifications, you are not allowed to speculate on derivatives with customer deposits. It's stringent regulation. It isn't sticking viable bank's heads into the guillotine.ghostrunner wrote:The big rap on him is "how are you realistically going to do this?" and then he had no answer.
Now whether or not you think that's prudent is another story, but framing it like he doesn't have a plan is just wrong. You can think his plan sucks, that's fine, but the Clinton camp acting like this is indicative of a man who just shouts nonsense from the hilltop without actually putting practical thought into how he'll go about accomplishing his goals is just incorrect and specious.

Interesting since she has over $30 million dollars in her own account. Her husband, Bill, has over $80 million. Pretty good for a couple politicians.

It's gonna suck when the Clintons are implicated in the Panama Papers and she loses to Trump.
