That's a Bernie bro stereotype, not a general Bernie supporter stereotype.

At first I thought the republican guy on Season 4 of House of Cards was just a bad actor lacking any charisma, then I realized he's just playing Ted Cruz.

We talk about the democratic side more, but the Republican side is way more interesting. Their convention is going to be nuts.

I think Trump will be denied as well

Frustrating that that's the case now after it's over. It took until Iowa for anyone here to take the Bern seriously.

But yeah, the Republican side is going to be nuts. I'm excited. What is Trump going to do if they give it to Cruz? Is there anything he *can* do? It's too late for him to run 3rd party. Is that it, then?

Cruz has a ground game, and so he's in a better position to pick up delegates in a contested convention. Trump literally didn't even know what a ground game was when he started out.

Cruz honestly scares me more than Trump. Cruz's unsaid platform is that the reason Republicans have failed is because they weren't extreme enough, but he is extreme enough. Trump's platform is that the reason Republicans failed is because they were clowns that didn't know what they were doing, but he does know what he's doing. Both are 100% wrong but it's a weird dynamic that the guys leading the race are running on the idea that the Replubican party has failed to deliver much. As we've documented, Republicans are kicking butt in many, many places. Why do they think they are losing so bad? Just because Obama won twice?

the worry for them is that what they have going is unsustainable with changing demographics. Thus the amped up hysterics -the party is worried they may have to change to win elections, and change doesn't come easy and without blowback.

Billionaires seem to have endless supply of money to devote to the cause. They know they aren't going to run out of money, but it still chafes that it's getting more expensive. They may need war or more terrorism to get the Nationalism back up.
