Re: rant: fine dining
I'm almost always in the mood for good home style southern food, and have planned a few vacations in the last several years around trying to eat myself to death in southern cities. I just haven't made it to ATL yet. It's on the list, though. Maybe this winter when I need an escape from the weather. Thanks a million for the tips.

That's how I am, I think the fanciest place I've ate in Denver is Casa Bonita.

I'll also plug Austin for winter visitation. Uchi/Uchiko, Barley Swine, Franklin BBQ, Fixe, Olamaie, Jacoby's....we have some good stuff.

If you're ever this way, let me know. We can enjoy a craft beer and grow beards.33anda3rd wrote:Austin is also on my list of Southern Cities In Which I'd Like To Overindulge Myself On Food And Booze. That list is : Charleston, Austin, Atlanta.
